As 2024 wraps up, we’re taking a moment to celebrate everything we’ve accomplished this year at Salient. It’s been a year of growth, exciting new projects, and milestones that wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing clients and team.
Here’s a look back at some of the highlights that made 2024 such a standout year for us.
Record-breaking growth
This year, we took on more cases than ever before – a clear reflection of the growing trust our clients place in our team and our services.
- New matters: 164 new cases – a 69% increase from last year! This our most significant year of growth to date, and something we’re really proud of.
- Client engagements: 29 active clients kept us busy, and we added 3 new long-term subscriptions to our roster.
- Throughput: Between last year’s data, this year’s data, and archived data, we’ve had a throughput of 28TB this year!
- Device imaging: 149 laptops and mobile phones were imaged this year – up from 90 last year, showcasing our growing capabilities.
Expanding horizons
For us, 2024 wasn’t just about numbers – it was also about taking bold steps forward. Here are some of the firsts we’re particularly proud of.
- New office in Namibia: We were thrilled to open our Namibia office and complete our very first engagement there.
- New Digital Forensics practice: This year, we officially launched our Digital Forensics practice, offering stand-alone services alongside our eDiscovery expertise. We’ve already completed 3 forensic engagements, and we’re just getting started.
- Rollout of Reveal Ask GenAI: We introduced Reveal Ask to our clients this year, and it’s been a game-changer. This AI-powered tool helps investigators validate and uncover known and unknown fact patterns faster, speeding up early data and case assessments.
Investing in people and innovation
At Salient, it’s the combination of our people and our technology that sets us apart. This year, we continued to grow our skills and explore new ways to deliver for our clients.
- New certifications: We added two new certifications to our “hall of fame” in 2024:
- GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE)
- EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE)
- Data Analytics innovation: We successfully introduced cutting-edge GenAI enrichment techniques to help clients tackle complex data analytics challenges, including extracting invoice and bank statement details from unstructured content.
