The eDiscovery challenge
Combining a larger (200 GB) Microsoft 365 data collection with content from other sources (email archives and fileshare content), presented our client with an eDiscovery challenge.
The Salient solution
Larger data volumes present a challenge for review in Microsoft Purview eDiscovery. It has unsurpassed collection capabilities and advanced search functionality, however, can be unwieldy when dealing with larger volumes. And it is fundamentally a tool designed for the Microsoft ecosystem content, so is less able to seamlessly cope with content from external sources. A purpose-built eDiscovery platform presents and organises complex cases for review faster and more efficiently.
We were able to advise the client to ensure a broad collection across multiple sources, including Microsoft Purview eDiscovery for their Microsoft ecosystem content, and process it into our Reveal eDiscovery platform. Once there, the AI-powered capabilities and visualisation tools assisted them in making a swift appraisal of all the data collected to focus and accelerate the legal review.
